Removed from service - on or about July 2020 Condition when removed from service - Working Current condition - Unknown Reason for being auctioned - No longer required Voltage: 208/220v Phase: 3 Cycle: 60hz Amp: 2.6 - 2.4 HP: 3/4 Dimensions: L 59" x W 18.5" x H 49" Quantity - 1 Weight (approx.) - 1200 Lbs/545 Kgs The asset is being sold as listed. You are invited to place a bid with the information provided, if the information provided does not meet your satisfaction, we suggest you do NOT bid. A mutually acceptable (for both buyer and seller/HWDSB) appointment day/time to pick up your purchased equipment must be made with the HWDSB seller representative. Item shown assembled in picture and can be moved safely with proper lifting tools (jacks, pry bars, wood blocks, etc) and equipment (skid, pallet jack, etc), Item could also be disassembled by buyer and placed on skid(s) due to overall weight and size of the lathe. Buyer (you) should be prepared to bring all the necessary equipment and personnel to move the equipment. The seller (HWDSB) cannot, and will not, provide any equipment to assist the buyer moving the equipment from. The onsite HWDSB seller representative will be available to facilitate the movement of the equipment. Once a pick up day/time is set, the HWDSB seller representative will be on site 15 minutes before and after the scheduled pick up time. The pick up will not occur if the HWDSB representative is not on site, the school cannot facilitate or authorize a pick up. The HWDSB representative will provide a bill of sale at the time of pick up. The bill of sale must be signed by both buyer and seller.

Q: is there any possibility of seeing this lathe to check wear and condition? I am in Hamilton so anytime during day or evening is fine. Q: Hello, could you please send some photos really close up of the lathe bed, specially by the headstock. Thats the long shiny parts near the top of the lathe under the big round piece with the 3 fins on it. A couple of pics would be nice starting under the round piece progressing to the right, along the shiny front rail looking part for the first 6 inches or so. Also can you confirm model, is it 1340? Q: So there is no forklift or skidsteer available to lift onto a trailer? Is the item able to be winched up on a deck truck. Is it still installed in the shop? Or in a seacan outside? (3/4/21 4:27 PM) A: There is nothing on site to assist with lifting the asset. The asset is currently on the ground inside of a Machine Shop within a decommissioned school. Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate. THE REMOVAL OF THE PURCHASED ASSETS FROM THE VENDOR’S PREMISES SHALL BE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PURCHASER. The winning bidder will be contacted by a Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board representative to arrange pick of the asset. Pick up availability - Monday to Friday during business hours.
