Payment methods for this item are Wire Transfer, PayPal, or credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) only. PayPal and credit card purchases are limited to below $5,000.00 and Bidders residing in the United States, Canada and Mexico Only. If the winning bid plus applicable taxes, if any indicated, plus the buyer's premium equals to $5,000.00 or more, Wire Transfer must be used. Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of the close of the auction. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. NO TOOLS ARE AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC USE AND NO MECHANICS ON SITE! Winning Bidder must come prepared to push, pull, haul, tow, or whatever means necessary for the removal of purchased item. Property may be removed between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:00 pm Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. Titles will be mailed to the Winning Bidder after item has been paid for and picked up. Items not removed within ten (10) days of the issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate will be considered abandoned/forfeited, buyer is declared default, and ownership shall revert to the City of Sumter (Seller). Bidders will be locked unless a prior arrangement has been made for any item not removed within the ten (10) business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.

The Buyer is not entitled to any payment for loss of profit or any other damages – special, direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential. Waiver of all liability from the City of Sumter (Seller) for loading and property removal. The winning bidder will be liable for any damage or harm that may take place during the loading and removal of an item awarded to the bidder. In addition, the winning bidder shall indemnify, defend, and save harmless the City of Sumter and their representatives from any liability arising out of the winning bidder’s acts or omissions including failure to secure adequate insurance coverage. |
