2008 SPARTAN GLADIATOR CRIMSON 5 PERSON CAB PUMPER. This engine has been removed from service due to milage, age and hours only. It is a scheduled replacement. This unit starts, drives and pumps with no known issues. Unit has 161,390 miles, 12,504 hours, and 1223 pump hours. Vehicle was removed from service 11/22 and stored inside. DOT expired on 11/22, last pump test was 8/27/2022 (passed with no issues). New batteries (6) 10/2020. The generator has been removed. Dash has a small crack in it. currently a door ajar alarm sounds when all the doors are closed. Front grill has missing piece. No other known significant issues. The body is in very good shape as is the undercarriage and drive train. Aluminum body with high side compartments with roll up doors. 2 compartments on the top of the body as well (SCBA cylinder compartments hold 3 cylinders on each side of vehicle). Attached folding ladder allows for easy access to top to repack cross lays and supply line. Massive hose bed capable of holding over 2000 feet of 4 inch supply line and multiple attack lines off the rear. vehicle is 9'6'' tall, 32'6" long and 9'9'' wide. The vehicle is rated at 47,000 GVWR. (vehicle weighs 31,800 empty) 63 gallon fuel tank that has fill spouts on both sides of the vehicle. Very strong Cummins 450 ISM engine with Allison automatic transmission. Front and rear heat and Air conditioning, Telma electro magnetic driveline retarder, Jacobson engine break, 400 amp alternator, On spot chains, 12 volt jumper cable studs, tow hooks with tow glad hands, Alcoa Aluminum wheels with in date very good Michelin tires (365/70 R22.5 ) front, Goodyear G622RSD rear. Has a spot for a 3 cylinder Kubota/Onan diesel 7.5K generator with remote start buttons but it has been removed. two telescoping 750 watt pole lights 2 (two) 1000 watt scene lights mounted on the body. 750 watt brow light. Whelen strobe and LED emergency lighting in addition a LED Roto-Ray is mounted on the front of the vehicle. Large amber traffic arrow lights on both sides of the body, LED vehicle lighting except headlights. Air ride driver’s seat, recording drive cam, back up camera, Stability Roll system, Rolltek system, power steering, air conditioning, power windows, power heated mirrors, Sigtronics communication system with push to talk radio connections, power cab tilt with manual back up pump, Shoreline power and charger, Whelen electronic siren and Screaming eagle (sounds a like a Q siren) electronic siren, Grover stutter tone air horns, 4 SCBA bracket seats (officer and 3 in the back), inside the cab storage for complete set of ALS gear, Bullard thermal imager charger. The pump is a Hale 1500 GPM QMAX with FOAM LOGIC and CAFS PRO compressor. 750 gallons of water with a 25 gallon class A foam tank and a 25 gallon class B foam tank. 2 (two) 10 foot sections of 6” hard sleeve. No ladders but enclosed storage for 24 foot extension ladder, 14 foot roof, and 10 foot folding attic ladder. (but not included in this auction) COUNTY GRAPHICS WILL BE REMOVED. Removal
All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Property may be removed between the hours of 8:00 am. and 3:00 pm, TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY. Appointments can be scheduled with Firefighter III - Dan Rothermel during normal business hours at 717-443-1463. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.
