A: Tax value is the appraised property value which is used to determine the amount of the tax bill. The accessed tax value is not the amount of the annual tax bill. The tax rate is subject to change annually based on the budget adopted by the County. The most recent tax rate for 2019 bill can be be found through the Wayne County tax office (either in person or online at (4/22/19 8:23 AM)
