|At this writing, listed equipment is physically located at the Montgomery County Maryland, Department of General Services, Division of Fleet Management Services, Equipment Maintenance & Transit Operations Center (“EMTOC”), 16700 Crabbs Branch Way, Rockville, MD 20855. Equipment may also be located at 17000 Crabbs Branch Way, as we are currently moving to a new facility. Equipment is available for inspection every Thursday from 12p-3p at the address listed above. Please contact Steve Palmeter at 240-328- 4442 for inspection appointment.|
Winning Bidder must make payment by electronic wire transfer within 5 business days of Buyer’s Certificate. For payment by electronic funds (wire transfer) please eMail firstname.lastname@example.org and ask for Wire Transfer Instructions Buyer will be given a Bill of Sale when payment is delivered to Michelle West or designee when a wire transfer clears. Unless Buyer is registering the asset and bringing license plates for the purpose of driving away from County property, original Title will be delivered to the Buyer when asset is picked up and removed from County property.
Buyer must remove the asset within 10 business days of Buyer’s Certificate by showing Bill of Sale to a Crew Chief, Shop Superintendent, or designee where the asset is located. Call Steve Palmeter at 240- 777-5755 or 240- 328-4442 at EMTOC to make a pickup appointment. Equipment must be removed between 8AM-2PM by appointment only. The County requests 1-day notice so that equipment can be made accessible for removal. Buyer will be solely responsible for removal of equipment. Equipment is sold as-is, where- is. Please review the Indemnification provision #8 in the Terms and Conditions of Sale. It is the Buyer’s responsibility to be knowledgeable of condition and operability and to remove using Buyer’s resources.
