Q: hi, do u know how much these might weight, are they 16 ft. long with the roof overhang, and what are they setting on and does the footing have to be removed. thanks (1/10/21 12:03 PM) A: The "estimated" weight is 11,000 to 12,000 lbs. The overhang on all sides is about 4”. So the length with deck would be approximately 24’ 9”. The cabins are sitting on axles and tires and have a hitch. They do NOT have lights and it is recommended buyers contact a mobile home mover for best results. They are not on a foundation. These pictures were taken a few months ago. Since then they were relocated to a better one to sell them from. (1/12/21 3:46 PM) |

Q: It is stated under the first question that the cabins were "relocated to a better place to sell them from". Can you tell me this location and give a description of the location? (1/13/21 11:20 AM) A: They are all sitting in a parking lot up at Horsetooth Resevior's south bay (1/13/21 12:11 PM) |

Q: So they are ready to roll, just hook the hitch and drive away? Or is further disassembly needed to haul them out? (1/13/21 4:29 PM) A: Cabins are on a trailer frame with wheels and a hitch, no lights. It is recommended buyers contact a mobile home mover for best results. (1/14/21 10:14 AM) |

Q: Are the tires and wheels the open style mobile home type?
Or are they travel trailer type with six or eight conventional lug nuts.
The mobile home open style wheels donot hold together well on longer trips. (1/14/21 4:28 PM) A: Just a few minutes ago I posted pictures of the axles and tires on each auction. Hopefully those pictures can answer your question. (1/14/21 5:27 PM) |

Q: Approximate measurement from the ground to the peak outside? Condition of tires and axles under cabins? I am a an individual, what are my insurance requirements to take these offsiite? (1/24/21 10:56 AM) A: To the peak on wheels is around 14' -6". As stated in the ad, a liability release will be required of an individual in lieu of insurance coverage. I am contacting a staff person regarding your tire and axle question and will edit this answer when I hear back from him. The Parks staff person said, "The axles are used, the tires are used, I would highly recommend to people who purchase them to hire a mobile home mover, that way the liability falls on the mover."
