Questions and AnswersQuestions and Answers
Q: Could these be powered by direct voltage instead of alternating? What do you reckon would happen if the cord was cut then instead of plugged into an outlet, placed on positive and negative terminals? I'm sure you know exactly what would happen so please say. (6/15/21 11:24 PM)
A: No, devices that expect by alternating current generally cannot run off of direct current. There's also the issue of the voltage itself (most consumer electronics in the US use 110-120V). You would need to run an inverter that could turn your DC source (like a battery or cigarette lighter) into an AC source. I've never done it so I can't say for certain that it would work. (6/16/21 11:18 AM)
Q: Hey how about including some mounting hardware for the winner? I think that it's possibly helpful if included with the TVs'. (6/17/21 10:59 PM)
A: Hardware is not included. No mounting hardware was given to us when these assets were transferred to us for liquidation. These TVs were used in a university-run hotel and still have their stands attached. (6/18/21 8:30 PM)
