Questions and AnswersQuestions and Answers
Q: I believe the starting bid is high...Is it possible to start with a lower amount? Thanks (10/13/20 6:20 PM)
A: The thought was hoping to get around $50 per microwave since they are practically new and retail for $80 each. The starting bid is less than $50 per microwave. If lower would you consider buying? If so, what would you see a fair starting bid to be? (10/15/20 9:07 AM)
Q: Do you still have the original boxes ? (10/15/20 9:34 AM)
A: We do not still have the original boxes. Some of them are unused and have the manuals with them, but no boxes. (10/15/20 9:57 AM)
Q: So they are dorm room units that didn’t work out? (10/17/20 4:05 PM)
A: Yes and no. They were used in dorms for temporary housing but they are retail purchased microwaves--ones you would find in and buy for your own house--used in dorms for a very short period of time. Since it was only for temporary housing, they are no longer needed by our department. (10/17/20 8:02 PM)
Q: You mentioned retail being $80.00. that could be true. But a retail merchandise passes through so many hands that adds up cost. Something that retails for 80.00 might have started at 10.00 in the supply chain. I am ready to buy the oven if you are ready to offer a lower price. (10/20/20 9:52 PM)
A: That's correct, but we bought them at the retail price of $80/each. What is a lower price you would be willing to pay for the lot? (10/20/20 9:58 PM)
Q: Start the bid @$10 and you will get a reasonable offer (10/22/20 6:43 PM)
A: . (10/26/20 9:17 AM)
Q: What is the voltage please? (10/26/20 9:33 PM)
A: It's 900 watts (10/27/20 4:18 PM)
Q: Would like to purchase would give around 750.00 for all (10/29/20 12:59 AM)
A: Current bid is already $800. (11/17/20 6:01 AM)
