The below described watercraft vessel with an in-board motor and trailer have been impounded by the City of Norton Police Department and is being sold via auction in compliance with the N.C.O. 660.07 , O.R.C. 4513 and O.R.C. 1547. These items are being considered as unclaimed, and abandoned junk vessel and trailer and are being sold as-is and where-is. The mechanical condition of the items are unknown. Keys belonging to the vessel is not available. The vessel , in-board motor and trailer come without titles. The winning bidder will be given a Bill of Sale for all items and a Department of Natural Resource's Form 8508 for the watercraft vessel. Boat Hours are unknown. The contents within the vessel as seen in the pictures will remain with the vessel. Assorted pictures of the vessel . in-board motor and trailer have been included. The vessel, in-board motor and trailer will be required to be flat bedded to be removed. Gaining title to the vessel, motor and trailer will be the responsibility and risk of the winning bidder as well as any required inspections required towards gaining titles for the vessel, motor and trailer.

Viewing is by appointment only due to the area having restricted access. Only one person or one group may come onsite to view vehicles at a time as those individual(s) must be escorted by impound staff. Appointments for inspection and pick-up must be made with the impound lot staff at 330- 706-0084 ext. 183. Hours available will be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and Thursday and Friday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Pickup is by appointment only due to the area having restricted access. In accordance, after payment and at pickup, winning bidder will be given a Bill of Sale for the items and Department of Natural Resources Form 8508 for the watercraft vessel and the outboard motor. All items must be paid for online with payment paid within 5 days upon the close of the auction. All items must be removed from the impound lot within 5 business days after payment. Any items not removed within the time frame identified will be re-impounded. Working on items in the lot is prohibited.

Q: Is there a complete outdrive attached to boat? If I provive trailer plates can boat be towed instead of trailered? (5/18/22 11:37 AM) A: There is an outdrive attached, however , the motor appears to have been partially disassebmled and parts and pieces are in a disarray, and may not all be there. Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of the close of the auction. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. Bidders will be locked unless a prior arrangement has been made for any item not removed within the ten (10) business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.
