WE DO NOT PACK AND SHIP Before any property can be removed from City premises, a valid Buyer's Certificate must be presented and/or signed as proof of purchase. The Buyer must provide the Buyer's photo ID and a copy of the Buyer’s Certificate. A Buyer's Agent must provide a copy of the Buyer's photo ID along with their own photo ID, a copy of the Buyer's Certificate (signed by the Buyer) and an Authorization of Release Form that is properly filled out and signed by the Buyer. If an agent of the buyer is to pick up an auctioned item, the identity and authority of such an individual must be established in advance to the satisfaction of the above-referenced point of contact with the City. There are no exceptions to this requirement. Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No assistance will be provided. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.

TAX CALCULATION & EXEMPTIONS


TAX CALCULATION: Sale Tax, where applicable, will be calculated and added at the end of the auction.

TAX EXEMPTION: Where taxes are applicable (see the Buyer's Certificate), Tax Exempt documents must be provided to Bidder Services at tax@govdeals.com within 24 hours of the auctions close and before payment is made. Bidders are encouraged to submit their Tax Exempt Documentation prior to the Auction's close to expedite this process. Please contact Bidder Services for all tax exemption questions.

Guaranty Waiver. All property is offered for sale 'AS IS,WHERE IS.' Asheboro, NC makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final.

Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to removal of the property. If seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property.
