As a bidder, you don't have to constantly watch auctions and worry about being outbid! All GovDeals Internet Auctions feature an auto-bid. In the bid box on the auction view page, enter the HIGHEST dollar amount that you are willing to pay, and the GovDeals bidding system will bid on your behalf by placing a bid at the current LOWEST minimum bid. If another bidder outbids your LOWEST minimum bid, the system will automatically place another bid, once again making you the current high bidder, until your "top dollar" number is reached. The auto-bidding system will continue to place the LOWEST minimum bids on your behalf until you are the winner of the auction or another bidder bids higher than your auto-bid. Auto-bids are completely private and are never displayed to other bidders. In the event of a reserve price auction, your auto-bid will immediately bid up to the amount of the reserve OR to the max amount of your auto-bid if the reserve price is in excess of your auto-bid.


Bid Extension

If a bid is placed during the final 3 minutes of an auction, the auction will automatically extend for additional 3 minutes. This will continue until no bids are placed during the last three minutes.

Since most bidding occurs during the final minutes of an auction, this allows all bidders a sufficient amount of time to continue bidding.


Probation Level 1 Bidding

This Seller has instituted a Bidder Probation Restriction on this auction. To have this restriction removed, a $1,000 refundable deposit in the form of a Certified Cashier's Check or U.S. Postal Money Order must be mailed to GovDeals, Inc., 100 Capitol Commerce Boulevard, Suite 110, Montgomery, AL 36117. Once 60 days have passed GovDeals will return this bid deposit.

These items were working when last in use, however, the functionality and completeness of this lot is not guaranteed. All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS and WITHOUT WARRANTY. See photos for more details. Buyer is RESPONSIBLE for the PACKAGING, the REMOVAL, and the TRANSPORTING of ALL items. We always encourage an appointment for inspection prior to bidding. We only accept tax-exempt documents from Maryland public institutions. Tax-exempt documents must be provided to this seller within 24 hours of the auctions close. Tax-exempt status may or may not be recognized by seller.

TAX CALCULATION: Sale Tax, where applicable, will be calculated and added at the end of the auction.

TAX EXEMPTION: Where taxes are applicable (see the Buyer's Certificate), Tax Exempt documents must be provided to GovDeals Bidder Services at within 24 hours of the auctions close and before payment is made. Bidders are encouraged to submit their Tax Exempt Documentation prior to the Auction's close to expedite this process. Please contact GovDeals Bidder Services for all tax exemption questions.


Please research the equipment you are bidding on so you can be sure to have the necessary tools, personnel, and vehicle/trailer to safely remove the equipment from its location in a timely manner. Removal of property is only permitted Monday through Friday during normal College hours of operation and only with advance appointment. There are no pickups permitted on holidays observed by the College or during College breaks. Please schedule your appointments a minimum of 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. ITEMS AUCTIONED ARE FOR PICKUP ONLY. PACKAGING AND SHIPPING ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BIDDER. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.
The individual removing the asset must provide copy of Buyers Certificate and photo ID at time of removal. The Buyer’s Certificate serves as Proof-of-Purchase and must be presented at the time of item removal. ** If using a 3rd-Party agent; Buyer must provide agent with a faxed copy including their signed authorization to release their items. Buyer must notify Seller if using a Third-Party Agent and provide details. 3rd-Party agent will be asked to show proof of photo ID at time of pick-up along with the signed document. Hagerstown Community College is not responsible for any accidents or injuries that may result in the process of packaging, removal and /or transporting items.

All property is offered for sale “AS IS, WHERE IS.” (Seller) makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchant ability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final and all items must be removed at the same time.
Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for incorrect description must be made prior to removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property.
