Most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. Bidders may inspect the property prior to bidding. Inspection is by appointment only. Any non-GCPS employee on premises for an inspection of the item will require an escort at all times. Please see the Asset Contact above to schedule an inspection.

Inspection days and times are generally weekdays from 3:00–4:30 p.m. Other times not conflicting with school activities and operations may be scheduled at the convenience of GCPS staff. Email the Asset Contact at least one (1) business day in advance in order to schedule. Asset Contact is only available to respond to your emails on Tuesdays - Thursdays. GCPS will not allow unexpected, unscheduled visitors to inspect the item.

Wire Transfer
Wire Transfer is the only payment option for this item. The Wire Transfer Transaction Summary page will provide payment and account information. The Wire Transfer must be completed within 5 days unless otherwise specified below.

PAYMENT MUST BE MADE ONLINE-- To make online payment, Log into your GovDeals account and select “My Bids”. Please follow the instructions there.

Payment in full is due not later than five (5) business days from the time and date of the close of the auction. Payment must be made electronically through the GovDeals Website. Payment Methods are listed above.


TAX CALCULATION: Sale Tax, where applicable, will be calculated and added at the end of the auction.

TAX EXEMPTION: Where taxes are applicable (see the Buyer's Certificate), Tax Exempt documents must be provided to GovDeals Bidder Services at within 24 hours of the auctions close and before payment is made. Bidders are encouraged to submit their Tax Exempt Documentation prior to the Auction's close to expedite this process. Please contact GovDeals Bidder Services for all tax exemption questions.

The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate.

All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate or a daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged.

Pick-up days and times are generally weekdays from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.; an appointment is necessary to be scheduled at least two (2) business days in advance.

Buyer must show the Buyer’s Certificate before picking up item; this serves as proof of purchase and must be presented at the time of item removal. If using a Third-Party Agent (i.e. moving company), buyer must provide agent with a copy of the Buyer’s Certificate including their signed authorization to release their items. Buyer must notify Seller if using a Third-Party Agent. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified.

Guaranty Waiver. All property is offered for sale 'AS IS, WHERE IS.' Seller makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final.

Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the Seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property.
