1999 JCB 215E Backhoe- Starts and Runs well, but the transmission needs repair, so it is currently undriveable. 3 Tries are in good condition, one is almost new. Bottom right window is cracked, 2 cylinder on the bucket leak, cylinder on right rear leg leaking. Equipped with A/C and Factory Radio.

All removals must be scheduled prior to arrival due to Covid-19 precautions that are in place. Also, if the winning bidder wants the Title mailed to them they will need to pay the cost of certified mail, in the amount of $14.15, which can be arranged by contacting Tawnya Vess at 828-259-5949.

If the winning bidder will not be onsite to remove their own asset, then the Bill of Sale and Authorization of Release form (found under 'additional Info' on this listing) must be filled out and emailed to Purchasing at surplus@ashevillenc.gov along with a copy of the winning bidders Driver's License, prior to scheduling a removal.

NOTE: All sales over $30,000 require City Council approval. Item(s) will not be released until council approval is received.

TAX CALCULATION & EXEMPTIONS


TAX CALCULATION: Sale Tax, where applicable, will be calculated and added at the end of the auction.

TAX EXEMPTION: Where taxes are applicable (see the Buyer's Certificate), Tax Exempt documents must be provided to Bidder Services at tax@govdeals.com within 24 hours of the auctions close and before payment is made. Bidders are encouraged to submit their Tax Exempt Documentation prior to the Auction's close to expedite this process. Please contact Bidder Services for all tax exemption questions.

RemovalRemoval
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of the close of the auction.

The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. A daily storage fee of $25.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.

NOTE: The City of Asheville Purchasing Division is located at 70 Court Plaza, Suite 100C, Asheville, NC 28801. There is no parking available for large or long vehicles or vehicles with trailers at this location. If pickups are to be made using large or long vehicles or vehicles with trailers, successful bidder MUST email purchasing@ashevillenc.gov to make arrangements at another location.

Guaranty Waiver. All property is offered for sale “AS IS, WHERE IS.” (Seller) makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final.

Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property.
