MedVault is a high security locker for narcotics. Security is ensured through its robust construction and restricted entry. Only authorized users with administrator assigned personal identification number (PIN)can access the unit.
The department administrator maintains all user and PIN information through the Knox Connect Cloud based software program, which information can be transferred to the MedVault unit. The unit also collects an audit trail that records Medvault data, including the user, date, time, event description and the group number. The administrator can routinely upload all data information from the unit.
The Medvault require a 12-volt DC; 3-amp power source. If the power is off, or the vehicle loses power, or the electronics fa, the unit can ONLY be opened using the manual over-ride key. For Security purposes, the manual override key is shipped separate from the unit. If you do not receive your manual override key, contact Knox immediately. There is a coin cell battery within the unit used to maintain the date and time, which is required for Knox Connect SSL and EAP authentication
The Unit consist of • Numeric Keypad • LED scrolling banner (above the keypad) • USB connection port, Ethernet connection, or Wireless Wifi • Lock/ unlock knob • Manual over-ride key lock with cover • Interior light
MedVault manufacture is Knoxbox. All were purchased a little over 3 years ago, but never used.

There are a total of 10 MedVaults 3 are in open boxes 7 are unopened.
All LOTS #2 through LOT #10 are exactly the same as this Lot #1.

A: No, we do not have staff or vehicles to make deliveries In the past buyers have made arrangements with vrouw third party companies, UPS, FED-X ... and others to pick up the equipment, pack and ship it, but the City does not, nor do ewe keep a list of such third party shippers. (8/22/22 10:58 AM)

Property may be removed by APPOINTMENT ONLY only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Please contact Chris Schroeder, Purchasing Agent at 408-586-3161. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of the close of the auction.
ALL ITEMS MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE AUCTION FACILITY AT PURCHASERS SOLE COST AND RISK . AT NO TIME WILL AUCTION STAFF OR EQUIPMENT BE EXPECTED TO ASSIST IN LOADING, OR MOVING ITEMS FROM THE AUCTION SITE. PURCHASER WILL ACCEPT ANY AND ALL LIABILITIES FOR DAMAGES TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY WHILE REMOVING ITEMS PURCHASED. This agency does NOT provide SMOG CERTIFICATION or EMISSIONS RETROFIT. All smog related repairs and certifications for vehicles are the sole responsibility of the buyer as outlined in California Vehicle Code, Division 12, Section 24007.5.
