Non-City owned electronic testing or code reading or programing devices will NOT be allowed on City property at any time, nor will they be allowed to be connected to any piece of equipment on City of Mobile Property.

Winning bidders will have a 12.5 percent Buyer's Premium added to their total payment for payment to GovDeals.

The City will not assist with the removal of an Item.

City of Mobile is open for pickup of items between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Pick up of keys and removal must be done during these hours. THERE WILL BE NO REMOVALS AFTER HOURS, NOR IS THE CITY AVAILABLE FOR REMOVAL DURING WEEKENDS. City of Mobile locations will close at 3:00 PM. Bidders are to remove their property within ten (10) business days after the issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate of Award, or a $20.00 daily storage fee will be incurred. Storage Fees are payable only by Cashier Check, Certified Check or Money Order at time of pick up and removal. CASH IS NOT ACCEPTED FOR PAYMENT OF STORAGE FEES.

The City will not offer any assistance for the removal of an item from City of Mobile property. No City of Mobile equipment or employees can be used to load your purchase.

There is no loading dock or loading facility at this location.

Successful Bidders are responsible for the loading and removal of the item from the City of Mobile property and should be ready to transport or trailer the item from City of Mobile property.

If you are going through a shipping company that requires you to use a towing company to assist in loading your purchase, you must contract with the towing company yourself. The City of Mobile makes no recommendations on towing companies. The City will not offer any assistance for the removal of an item from City of Mobile property other than moving equipment that may be in the way, putting air in tires, or providing a jump start or boost to start a piece of equipment. This item cannot be removed until the City receives notification of acceptance of payment by GovDeals. Merchandise will not be released to anyone other than yourself. To pick up your Item, you need a copy of your Buyer's Certificate and your Photo Identification. If someone other than yourself is picking up the Item(s), they will need a copy of your Buyer's Certificate, copy of your Identification and a note stating they are to pick up your item. A phone call or email would be advisable so we would know what to expect if someone other than yourself will be making the removal/pick up.

Repairs will not be allowed to items on City of Mobile property. Successful bidder shall be responsible to arrange for the wrecker, roll-back wrecker, trailer, crane, or other equipment as necessary to remove a vehicle from City of Mobile property. The City of Mobile makes no recommendations on towing companies.
