Up for auction is a 1991 Caterpillar D7H Series II dozer. The dozer starts and runs with a boost and the engine runs good. The hour meter shows 674 hours on the engine. It has a three speed transmission that might need repairs. It will move dirt in 1st gear but seems to slip in 2nd and 3rd gear. It might just need hydraulic fluid. Some fluid was added and it seemed to help. We don't have enough fluid on hand to fill it up. This dozer was used for several months during the construction of our firing range. It performed very well until the transmission started slipping. The blade and rippers work as designed with no known issues. The seat cover needs to be replaced as it is torn. This is a very nice and well maintained piece of equipment. We received it from the Navy Seabees a few years ago where it saw minimal use. As with any piece of equipment, there may be unknown repairs that need to be made. You are buying this piece of equipment as is with no warranties or guarantees.
