2012 FORD E-350 HANDICAPPED / SPECIAL NEEDS BUS WITH WHEEL CHAIR LIFT 2012 Ford E-350 handicapped / Special Needs bus, Engine, Gas, 5.4 Liter V8, with a BAD Automatic Transmission. 301,374 miles This vehicle starts, but needs a boost, it runs, and is in drivable condition (transmission has issues), heater works, ac works but does not cool, cruise control is operational, there’s power steering, tilt, no power seats, power windows, or am/fm radio. Wheel chair lift is reported to be operational but has been well used and should be serviced before any attempted use. The tires are Goodyear 225/75/R16, and they are in poor condition, no spare, or jack. White exterior paint is faded, with scratches, dents, decals, and no trailer hitch, and the driver’s door is damaged, also the windshield is cracked, the door glass and mirrors are in good condition. The interior is gray with rubber floorboards that are in poor condition, the dash is in good condition, seats have cracks/tears, wires are exposed, and holes exist from equipment removal. All property is offered for sale “As-Is, Where-Is.” Bidders are encouraged to physically inspect the offered property prior to bidding. Wearing of protective mask while on City Property is REQUIRED.*** This item is located at the City of Mobile Wave Transit, 1224 West I-65 Service Road, South, Mobile, Alabama. Hours for inspection are 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM - Monday through Friday. After hours and weekend inspections are not allowed. To arrange to view the item, call (251) 344 6600 Extension 236 to arrange a time with an escort. Unescorted inspection or viewing is not allowed nor encouraged. This item is sold as is, where is, and without warranty. It is the responsibility of the buyer to pick up, load, and transport. Wearing of protective mask while on City Property is REQUIRED.*** The City will not offer any assistance for the removal of an item from City of Mobile property. This item cannot be removed until the City receives notification of acceptance of payment by GovDeals and the completion of Title paperwork by the City of Mobile. Upon the City of Mobile receiving notification of GovDeals acceptance of payment on this item, the City will contact the successful bidder to arrange for completion of Title paperwork and additional information on the removal process. City of Mobile Wave Transit location is open between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Pick up of keys and removal must be done during these hours. There will be no removal after hours nor is the Wave Transit available for removal during weekends. If you are going through a shipping company that requires you to use a towing company to assist in loading your purchase, you must contract with the towing company yourself. The City of Mobile makes no recommendations on towing companies. The City will not offer any assistance for the removal of an item from City of Mobile property other than moving equipment that may be in the way, putting air in tires, or providing a jump start or boost to start a piece of equipment. This item cannot be removed until the City receives notification of acceptance of payment by GovDeals. Merchandise will not be released to anyone other than yourself. To pick up your Item, you need a copy of your Buyer's Certificate and your Photo Identification. If someone other than yourself is picking up the Item(s), they will need a copy of your Buyer's Certificate, copy of your Identification and a note stating they are to pick up your item. A phone call or email would be advisable so we would know what to expect if someone other than yourself will be making the removal/pick up.
Bidders are to remove their property within ten (10) days business days after the issuance of the Buyer's Certificate of Award, or a $20.00 daily storage fee will be incurred. Storage Fees are payable only by Cashier Check, Certified Check or Money Order at time of pick up and removal. Cash is not accepted for payment of Storage Fees Repairs will not be allowed to vehicles on City of Mobile property. Successful bidder shall be responsible to arrange for the wrecker, roll-back wrecker, trailer, crane, etc., necessary to remove a vehicle from City of Mobile property.
