Auto-bid
As a bidder, you don't have to constantly watch auctions and worry about being outbid! All GovDeals Internet Auctions feature an auto-bid. In the bid box on the auction view page, enter the HIGHEST dollar amount that you are willing to pay, and the GovDeals bidding system will bid on your behalf by placing a bid at the current LOWEST minimum bid. If another bidder outbids your LOWEST minimum bid, the system will automatically place another bid, once again making you the current high bidder, until your "top dollar" number is reached. The auto-bidding system will continue to place the LOWEST minimum bids on your behalf until you are the winner of the auction or another bidder bids higher than your auto-bid. Auto-bids are completely private and are never displayed to other bidders. In the event of a reserve price auction, your auto-bid will immediately bid up to the amount of the reserve OR to the max amount of your auto-bid if the reserve price is in excess of your auto-bid.Bid Extension
If a bid is placed during the final 3 minutes of an auction, the auction's current end time will automatically extend for additional 3 minutes. This will continue until no bids are placed during the last three minutes.Probation Level 1 Bidding
This Seller has instituted a Bidder Probation Restriction on this auction. To have this restriction removed, a $1,000 refundable deposit in the form of a Certified Cashier's Check or U.S. Postal Money Order must be mailed to GovDeals, Inc., 100 Capitol Commerce Boulevard, Suite 110, Montgomery, AL 36117. Once 60 days have passed GovDeals will return this bid deposit.Open auction where bidding starts at a fixed amount and increases by a minimum bid increment (or higher) by different bidders until the auction end time is reached. Payment methods for this item are Wire Transfer, PayPal, or credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) only. PayPal and credit card purchases are limited to below $5,000.00 and Bidders residing in the United States, Canada and Mexico Only. If the winning bid plus applicable taxes, if any indicated, plus the buyer's premium equals to $5,000.00 or more, Wire Transfer must be used. Buyers on level one probation have a PayPal and Credit Card limit of $1,000. If Wire Transfer is chosen, a Wire Transfer Transaction Summary page will provide payment and account information. REMOVAL: The City will not offer any assistance for the removal of an item from City of Mobile property. This item cannot be removed until the City receives notification of acceptance of payment by GovDeals and the completion of paperwork by the City of Mobile. Upon the City of Mobile receiving notification of GovDeals acceptance of payment on this item, the Winner should contact the City to arrange for completion of paperwork and additional information on the removal process. The Buyer must contact the City as this location is not normally manned and arrangements must be made for Buyer to be met so building can be opened. All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal of any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate. A daily storage fee of $20.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate. If the item is not removed within 10 days from the auction end date and time, the seller reserves the right to reclaim and repost. The buyer will be prohibited from the use of GovDeals. City of Mobile is open for pick up of items between 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM. Pick up and removal must be done during these hours. There will be no removals after hours, nor is the City available for removal during weekends. City of Mobile locations will close at 3:00 PM. Bidders are to remove their property within ten (10) business days after the issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate of Award, or a $20.00 daily storage fee will be incurred. Storage Fees are payable only by Cashier Check, Certified Check or Money Order at time of pick up and removal. Cash is not accepted for payment of Storage Fees. The City will not offer any assistance for the removal of an item from City of Mobile property. The City of Mobile does not assist with loading. No City of Mobile equipment or employees can be used to load your purchase. If you are going through a shipping company that requires you to use a towing company to assist in loading your purchase, you must contract with the towing company yourself. The City of Mobile makes no recommendations on towing companies. Merchandise will not be released to anyone other than yourself. To pick up your Item, you need a copy of your Buyer's Certificate and your Identification. You must have a photo I. D. If someone other than yourself is picking up the Item(s), they will need a copy of your Buyers Certificate, copy of your Identification and a note stating they are to pick up your Item.
