Wearing of protective mask while on City Property is REQUIRED.*** This item cannot be removed until the City receives notification of acceptance of payment by GovDeals and the completion of paperwork by the City of Mobile. The City will not offer any assistance for the removal of an item from City of Mobile property. Upon the City of Mobile receiving notification of GovDeals acceptance of payment on this item, the City will contact the successful bidder to arrange for completion of paperwork and additional information on the removal process. All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal of any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate. A daily storage fee of $20.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate. If the item is not removed within 10 days from the auction end date and time, the seller reserves the right to reclaim and repost. The buyer will be prohibited from the use of GovDeals. City of Mobile is open for pick up of items between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM. Pick up and removal must be done during these hours. There will be no removals after hours, nor is the City available for removal during weekends. City of Mobile locations will close at 4:00 PM. Bidders are to remove their property within ten (10) business days after the issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate of Award, or a $20.00 daily storage fee will be incurred. Storage Fees are payable only by Cashier Check, Certified Check or Money Order at time of pick up and removal. Cash is not accepted for payment of Storage Fees. The City will not offer any assistance for the removal of an item from City of Mobile property. The City of Mobile does not assist with loading. No City of Mobile equipment or employees can be used to load your purchase. If you are going through a shipping company that requires you to use a towing company to assist in loading your purchase, you must contract with the towing company yourself. The City of Mobile makes no recommendations on towing companies. Merchandise will not be released to anyone other than yourself. To pick up your Item, you need a copy of your Buyer's Certificate and your Identification. You must have a photo I. D. If someone other than yourself is picking up the Item(s), they will need a copy of your Buyers Certificate, copy of your Identification and a note stating they are to pick up your Item.
