TAX CALCULATION & EXEMPTIONS


TAX CALCULATION: Sale Tax, where applicable, will be calculated and added at the end of the auction.

TAX EXEMPTION: Where taxes are applicable (see the Buyer’s Certificate), Tax Exempt documents must be provided to GovDeals Bidder Services at taxhelp@liquidityservices.com within 24 hours of the auctions close and before payment is made. Bidders are encouraged to submit their Tax Exempt Documentation prior to the Auction’s close to expedite this process. Please contact GovDeals Bidder Services for all tax exemption questions.

If you are the winning bidder, contact the Seller PRIOR to arriving to verify payment has cleared and for instructions on pickup and removal. You must pay on line; no payments accepted on site.

All assets must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal of any and all property awarded to them.

The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Under no circumstances will Seller assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping.

The buyer shall agree to hold harmless, indemnify and defend Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners, FL, its agents and employees from any claims for property damage and/or personal injury resulting from the dismantling and removal of the equipment (including death resulting therefrom). Such claims include, but are not limited to, actual, consequential, incidental or punitive damages. Nothing here is to be construed as a waiver by Pinellas County of sovereign immunity per § 768.28, Florida Statutes.
