You are bidding on a 1987 Ford Broco XLT. This is a true barn find vehicle!! All original paperwork from the dealer is included with this vehicle, right down tothe original dealer bill of sale and the financing contract! Original warranty booklets and a letter from Ford thanking the original buyer for his purchase are also included. This is an XLT model which means it had a ton of options, including power windows, power door locks and intermittent wipers. This is a 4 wheel drive vehicle with a 302 V-8engine and automatic transmission. The story that we were told when we purchased it was that the original owner passed the truck down to his grandson when he purchased his next vehicle. The grandson drove it for a few years and parked it in the barn (Yes, literally parked it in a barn) with plans to restore it. He decided to start by priming the paint and this is how it sat for the last 18 or so years. We purchased the truck and had some work done to it. The tank was dropped and cleaned. A new starter and alternator were installed as well as a new master cylinder and some brake hoses, a new battery and a new starter solenoid were also installed. A tune up was done with new cap, rotor, wires and plugs as well. The truck starts right up and it runs and drives beautifully in both forward and reverse. The engine and transmission are both strong! It is still going to need some work in order to be a daily driver. It definitely will need some tires as the ones on it are 20 or so years old. It may need some front end work as it does shimmy at around 40-50 MPH, but we were told that this may be the tires since they are so old. The steering wheel is going to need new bearings due to being pulled on when the driver would get into the truck. This truck is an ORIGINAL GEORGIA TRUCK and a true survivor. It has spent its entire life down here and is a RUST FREE vehicle with the exception of some rain gutter rust on the passenger side (See photo) due to it having an off road light bar on it at one time. It does have a dent in the right door (Will easily pop out) and 2 small dings/holes on the passenger fender (See photos). If you are looking for a Bronco to restore or one just to have some fun in, look no further! Due to the age of this truck, it will come with a notarized bill of sale.
