IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE: This auction is for the ambulance body ONLY!
The truck that this body was previously mounted on is NOT for sale.
This ambulance body was pulled from a 1998 Navistar International 4700 LP.
This body is in fantastic condition. No leaks or issues.
The underbody still has the factory paint, and is in good condition.
The vehicle it was pulled from only had approx 37,000 miles on it.
Wires and cables between the cab and the body were cut, but plenty of wire was left to splice onto.
The inside is very clean. The boxes and storage compartments are very clean.
Everything worked as intended at the time the body was removed.
All emergency lighting will remain on the body, as pictured.
The exterior overall width of the body is 96" (8 foot).
The exterior length of the box from cab to rear doors is 170".
The distance from the back of the cab to the center of the rear axle is 108".
The distance from the front of the box to the center of the rear axle is 104".
The interior length of the box is 159".
The interior height from floor to ceiling is 71.5".
The box is currently sitting up on blocks and wood.
A truck or trailer can be backed under the body and we'll assist with sitting it down.
Third party pickups are welcome. We will assist with loading and removal.
In person inspections are encouraged and welcome.
Please contact us in advance to set up an appointment for inspection.
|Questions and Answers|
Q: Do you have an approximate weight for transport purposes?
(1/7/21 8:48 AM)
A: Unfortunately, we do not have the exact weight of the box. However, the curb weight provided by Medtec after the box was installed is 13,621 lbs, so if we subtract an estimated curb weight of the cab/chassis (10k lbs ??) that leaves us with a rough estimation of around 3600 lbs.... I'd probably just say roughly 2 tons to be on the safe side. (1/7/21 9:21 AM)
Q: Why not list it for what you want instead of relisting it time and time again (2/1/21 6:17 PM)
A: It's only been relisted once, so I'm not sure what you mean "time and time again" ... LOL!! (2/1/21 6:24 PM)
