Payment in full is due not later than five (5) business days from the time and date of the close of the auction. Payment must be made electronically via the payment methods listed below.


TAX CALCULATION: Sale Tax, where applicable, will be calculated and added at the end of the auction.

TAX EXEMPTION: Where taxes are applicable (see the Buyer's Certificate), Tax Exempt documents must be provided to Bidder Services at within 24 hours of the auctions close and before payment is made. Bidders are encouraged to submit their Tax Exempt Documentation prior to the Auction's close to expedite this process. Please contact Bidder Services for all tax exemption questions.


All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal and any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Under no circumstances will Seller assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping. Property may be removed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. Please contact in advance to schedule time for pick-up. For information, please contact the agency representative listed in “Special Instructions”. The successful bidder must assume all liability that may be incurred in connection with the removal of the property from the premises. If the purchaser does not remove the property purchased within the specified number of days after date of the award, the County of Henrico reserves the right to retain the purchase price and re-sell the property a second time, keeping any proceeds obtained. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be assessed to the Buyer for any item not removed within the 10 business days.

The County staff can furnish no service of any kind. The bidder shall assume all responsibility for the packaging, crating, loading, weighing,or hauling unless otherwise indicated. Successful bidders(Buyer) are responsible all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading, and transportation of any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the Buyer’s Certificate. Repair work on sale items will be limited to battery replacement and jump starting. No other repairs will be allowed on County property.

Guaranty Waiver. All property is offered for sale “AS IS, WHERE IS.” (Seller) makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final.
Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for incorrect description must be made prior to removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property.
