Q: Is the LT4 engine a supercharged or natural aspirated? (7/9/17 2:35 AM)
A: Natural (7/9/17 10:08 PM)
Q: Hello, there is not one picture with top down. Is thete a reason for that? Are the two biders real? Or are they in house bids? Seem like a high stating bid, to push up the bid. The agency got the car FREE why start so high. Let the bidders make the price. (7/11/17 4:42 PM)
A: There is not a pic because we are not familiar with how the FREE cars top goes down. You would have to contact Govdeals concerning the bidders as we are unaware of who they are at time of bid and assuming you are talking about employees as the "house" we are not allowed to bid. Starting price was based on current market and verbal appraisal of what the car should start at. The car did not come for "FREE", as there were multiple agencies in multiple states that spent countless nights and days away from family, endless man hours and multiple arrests that led to this FREE car and many other assets involved in the case. We like many other agencies are self supportive and do not rely on your tax money to fund investigative operations. I'm sorry but you make it sound as if it is OK for drug dealers to have nice FREE things because in reality they did not pay for the car either. Thanks for your interest and good luck if bidding. (7/11/17 10:22 PM)
Q: Can you tell me what transmission this car has? (7/11/17 11:12 PM)
A: I don't know. Sorry (7/12/17 1:37 PM)
Q: Are you certain that the LT4 isn't supercharged? Pictures look like a supercharger (7/11/17 11:17 PM)
A: It is not a supercharge (7/12/17 1:34 PM)
Q: I dont claim to know all the laws regarding hidden compartments. Is it illegal to have hidden compartments in a vehicle if not used for illegal activity? If it isnt illegal than why does someone have to fix it? (7/12/17 1:00 PM)
A: Because this one was used for illegal activity. (7/12/17 1:29 PM)
Q: Is the car free of rust the best that you can tell? Just trying to determine whether the body is solid for the most part. Thanks for your time and energy! (7/12/17 5:35 PM)
A: Best can tell yes, if there are any area you would like additional photos of please let us know. (7/13/17 8:10 AM)
Q: Is the car free of rust the best that you can tell? Just trying to determine whether the body is solid for the most part. Thanks for your time and energy! (7/12/17 5:39 PM)
A: .. (7/13/17 8:10 AM)
Q: Does the A/C works? (7/12/17 5:44 PM)
A: Checked it today and where the radio is there are unconnected wires and could be to the air and defrost. Not sure if just wiring was not completed. When moved to an on position, nothing happens. (7/13/17 8:12 AM)
Q: Does the A/C works? (7/12/17 5:45 PM)
A: . (7/13/17 8:12 AM)
Q: What is located in the driver door panel other than the door speakers? (7/12/17 5:51 PM)
A: It is in both the driver and passenger side and appears to be stereo related equipment. (7/13/17 8:12 AM)
Q: I wish there was a like button to your response about a FREE car....lol (7/14/17 12:27 PM)
A: Thanks (7/14/17 1:56 PM)
Q: Hello, if this car don't sell how many times will you continue to post it? And if there anyway that I can make a reasonably offer if it don't sell? the 7.50% tax is what keeping me from biding at this time. if the 65 was all origin I wouldn't have a problem paying 30,000 for it.. . (7/18/17 10:51 PM)
A: It has already met the reserve and if the first bidder defaults then it will be offered to the next highest bidder and so on.. If this option does not work it will be listed again but for a shorter period. State law mandates that property like this be sold at public auction and that is why we list on Govdeals. Thanks for your interest and good luck if bidding. (7/20/17 1:17 PM)
Q: This website is not a real bidding website! Scams all the time here by the Government officials themselves I have a couple of letters written to the FTC about the departments who put their vehicles on here. Bid rigging is illegal in the united states. The car isn't worth 25k not even worth 15k anyone who pays that for this is getting screwed. Check out my youtube channel at reel deal motors (you too the person looking at this that wont post it as a question because you don't want the public to know what your really doing on this site! Don't worry FTC is coming! (7/29/17 1:46 PM)
A: Thanks for your interest and did you have a question I must have missed it? (7/29/17 8:41 PM)
Q: State law mandates that you sell it at public auction correct! But does state law require you to state a starting price, why don't you post it at no reserve auction starting at $100. you wont do that though! Why are you lying about the fake bid that someone has already bid 25,000??? no one has bid 25k you just did that so the next person to bid you can try to stick him with the car! I am going to expose this public information !!! (7/29/17 1:49 PM)
A: The last classic type car we had sold at over $30,000.00 and no WE did not bid nor can WE bid as you suggest. I'm sure bidder you refer to as "fake" appreciates the comment. Contact Govdeals as we do not know any bidder information at the time the bids are placed, maybe they can assist you further. (7/30/17 8:48 AM)
