Questions and AnswersQuestions and Answers
Q: Can A Arkansas Constable Bid On This to do are law Enforcement work (4/29/22 4:21 PM)
A: Good morning, If this vehicle is to be purchased as a personal vehicle to assist in Law Enforcement by the Constable then yes, but Police Equipment will be removed. If this is to be purchased by Arkansas Police Dept or State Police, then Police Equipment can stay with unit. Keith Metra Fleet Dept. (5/2/22 7:26 AM)
Q: Are there maintenance records available? Has water pump been replaced? (5/10/22 1:46 PM)
A: Good afternoon, When vehicles go into Auction all maintenance records are put into storage. From the information that I have, no water pump has not been replaced. Thanks, Keith Metra Fleet Dept. (5/10/22 2:08 PM)
Q: It's pretty sad that departments like yours that crap on Constables, They help the community on their dime and are ones that should be helped. They are Law Enforcement officers and put their lives on the line everyday as well. Such a shame. (5/14/22 4:23 PM)
A: Good morning, I'm sorry that following Rules and Regulations on how Police vehicles are sold is wrong. As a Constable I'm sure you have Rules and Regulations that you must follow while during your job. We are sorry you feel this way but a Constable is an elected position held by a resident, not a Municipality and by law we can not sell a vehicle with Police markings, and red and blue lights to a individual. If you do win the bid we will only remove the Police markings and lights, as a Constable you should understand this and that our hands are tied. Maybe you can have the Municipality bid. Thanks, Keith Metra Fleet Dept (5/16/22 7:50 AM)
