Pitney Bowes DM400C Postage Meter Machine (Purchased NEW in 2008)

S/N #3087544 *Weigh Platform & Meter Key were rented from USPS, & returned when decommissioned.

NOTE: Machine was operational when it was recently taken out of service, but Pitney Bowes has discontinued these analog/modem models. Pitney Bowes can reconnect meter service; & the weigh platform / meter key can be rented with new service. Ink cartridges, postage strips, & sealer fluid can all be purchased from Pitney Bowes supplies website.

Payment must be made in person using or by mail. WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY ONLINE PAYMENTS OR PAYMENTS BY PHONE. Acceptable forms of payment made by mail are cashier’s check, money order, or a company check (with bank letter guaranteeing funds). In person payments may be made with a cashier’s check, money order, company check (with bank letter guaranteeing funds) cash or credit card ( includes a fee for processing).

Payment

Payment in full is due not later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. Please understand that if payment is not made within 5 business days, the items will be placed for re-auction on the 6th day and you will be removed from the City's list as an eligible bidder in the future. Acceptable forms of payment are: U. S. Currency, Certified Cashiers Check, Money Order, or a Company Check (with Bank Letter guaranteeing funds – mandatory) Checks shall be made payable to: City of Clarksville.

Removal

Items are located at The City Hall Building at One Public Square, Clarksville, TN 37040.

Removal: All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Property may be removed between the hours of 9:00a.m. and 3:00p.m. CST, Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. A daily storage fee of $10.00 WILL be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated

Items not picked up within 30 days of date of sale on buyer's certificate will be considered abandoned property under state law and sold to cover storage costs. Money paid to the City for the initial purchase WILL NOT be refunded.
