PAYMENT MUST BE MADE ONLINE-- To make online payment, Log into your Liquidity Services account and select “My Bids”. Please follow the instructions there.

Payment in full is due not later than five (5) business days from the time and date of the close of the auction. Payment must be made electronically via the payment methods listed below.


TAX CALCULATION: Sale Tax, where applicable, will be calculated and added at the end of the auction.

TAX EXEMPTION: Where taxes are applicable (see the Buyer's Certificate), Tax Exempt documents must be provided to Bidder Services at within 24 hours of the auctions close and before payment is made. Bidders are encouraged to submit their Tax Exempt Documentation prior to the Auction's close to expedite this process. Please contact Bidder Services for all tax exemption questions.

1. The successful bidder will be required to remit payment within five (5) business days and remove the property within ten (10) business days from the date of Notice of Award. Surplus property not paid for or removed from our property as described above will be returned to our surplus equipment pool.
2. You must schedule an appointment to pick-up and pay for your items by calling 510.477.7524 or 510.477.7526 between the hours of 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday.
3. Hours for pick-up: Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
4. Bring the the "Notice of Award" and your photo ID to Union Sanitary District, 5072 Benson Road, Union City, California 94587 and proceed to Shipping and Receiving to pick-up item(s).
5. You will be required to sign the District's standard "Release of Liability and Conveyance of Surplus Property" forms.
6. You will be responsible for the handling and loading of your item(s) including bringing any equipment or tools necessary to do so.
7. If you are picking up an item for someone else, you will need all of the items listed in #4 plus a note or letter from the designated "winning bidder" specifically naming you as their authorized representative.

Sale of all surplus property is, "as is" and "where is," without warranty. The description of surplus property offered for sale has been compiled from available data, but there is no guarantee or warranty on the part of the Union Sanitary District as to condition or quality of surplus property. Guarantee Waiver: The Union Sanitary District makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. The Buyer is not entitled to any payment for loss of profit or any other money damages - special, direct, indirect, or consequential.

The Union Sanitary District reserves the right to withdraw any items being offered. No service of any kind will be furnished by the Union Sanitary District, and the successful bidder shall assume any cost of weighing, packaging, crating, loading or hauling, unless otherwise indicated. No refunds or adjustments will be made on any award(s). Bids submitted shall remain firm and effective for a period of five (5) days following the closing date. Successful bidder will be required to remit payment within five (5) days and remove property within ten business (10) days from date of notice of award. No property may be removed by the purchaser prior to making full payment.
