2009 Blue Bird School/Transit Bus REAR ENGINE, 8.3L L6 DIESEL. Primary use is for daily routes. This vehicle starts, was maintained every 5,000 miles and the engine condition is runs. Q: What can you tell me about the transmission? (1/24/23 2:22 PM) A: it has a fluid pressure problem, which causes a problem shifting , and was told by allison to replace one vale you might as well do a rebuild - (1/24/23 3:20 PM) |

Q: Will it drive over the mountain we live in grand junction or does it need towed? Do you know what it might cost for a rebuild? (1/24/23 8:45 PM) A: The bus is drivable but it might have trouble shifting which at that point you will need to pull over the bus and shut it off and let the bus reset for about 5 minutes. Of course we cannot guarantee that the bus will make it all the way to Grand Junction. A rebuild will cost anywhere between $ 12,000.00 to 15,000.00 but it would be best to get your own estimate form your local Allison Dealer. (1/25/23 1:02 PM) |

Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of the close of the auction. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. Bidders will be locked unless a prior arrangement has been made for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.
