The Ritenour School District in St. Louis, Mo. is not only embracing tiny homes as an alternative housing option, but also as an educational tool for their students. In January 2018, students in the high school Geometry in Construction classes began building a tiny house to sell to the highest bidder. All proceeds will go back into funding the program.
Buyer is responsible for pick up and delivery of the tiny house.

Sold “as-is” with no warranty of any kind.

Q: what type sewage system? holding tank or compost toilet (10/11/18 10:15 PM)
A: Standard flushing toilet (1.6-gallon flushing. meets government guidelines). 3" rough opening with flange insert. Can easily be removed for a variety of toilet options. No holding tank. Owner would choose to hook up to sewer or septic, or change toilet to composting. (10/12/18 9:53 AM)

A: I'm sorry, but we do not have a forklift or crane. The district hired someone to move the tiny house from the back of our high school to the front. Possible vendors are 5-Star Buildings 573-885-1000 and Nathan Nissley 573-747-1912 if you want to call for estimated costs. (10/19/18 11:27 AM)

Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within twenty (20) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.

The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 20 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.
