The Ritenour School District in St. Louis, Mo. is not only embracing tiny homes as an alternative housing option, but also as an educational tool for their students. In January 2018, students in the high school Geometry in Construction classes began building a tiny house to sell to the highest bidder. All proceeds will go back into funding the program. Q: what type sewage system? holding tank or compost toilet (10/11/18 10:15 PM) A: Standard flushing toilet (1.6-gallon flushing. meets government guidelines). 3" rough opening with flange insert. Q: I understand it's my responsibility however if I were to Bid and Win this home, how would we get it onto the trailer? Do you guys have a forklift, is there a crane on property? Any ideas? (10/18/18 5:31 PM) A: I'm sorry, but we do not have a forklift or crane. The district hired someone to move the tiny house from the back of our high school to the front.
