Questions and AnswersQuestions and Answers
Q: Will the spotlight & headache rack remain for non law enforcement purchase, as I would remove backseat to transport my dogs. (7/5/17 11:40 AM)
A: Yes, The spotlight shall remain for any buyer, and as far as the headache rack, are you referring to the partition? if so, yes that can also remain. (7/5/17 5:51 PM)
Q: Is the police equipment going to be carefully removed to respect the ultimate buyer? I purchased another vehicle here a few years back and many unnecessary cabling was cut which let to a costly repair. Also, why is the computer stand considered police equipment? I have a setup now to provide invoice to customers as my car is really an extension of my office. (7/5/17 10:07 PM)
A: Yes, All equipment will be removed carefully, and the computer stand can stay in the vehicle, the only thing that will be removed will be the emergency equipment. Hope this answers your questions, if there is anything else, please feel free to ask. (7/7/17 2:26 PM)
Q: Hi, is the blue an original color or a repaint for your department? I understand the car was assigned to the Detective Unit, but was it subjected to extended periods of engine idling? Do you maintain a record of engine run hours? Did the vehicle require any unusual repairs or warranty work? Thanks. Stay safe. (7/5/17 10:48 PM)
A: No the original color was white, and it was repainted to the blue color. To my understanding it was not subject to extended run times, but we do not keep a record of that. And this vehicle has had numerous recalls that have all been taken care of, and also had extensive work completed on the motor, all done by a certified Chevrolet dealer. We have all of the repair paperwork up to and including each oil change. Hope this helps and if there is anything else we may assist you with, please feel free to ask. (7/7/17 2:31 PM)
Q: Hi, how many idle hours are on the engine? The trip computer should tell you. Thanks (7/10/17 10:21 AM)
A: Good afternoon, I checked the trip computer and it says 1.3 miles, so it appears that the driver did the reset each time the driver fueled it up. (7/10/17 7:58 PM)
Q: Would you leave everything in the vehicle for a fire department? Thanks. (7/11/17 10:05 AM)
A: Are you talking a member of the department or the department itself? all of our lights are blue/red, and in order for the lights to stay in, we would need a letter from the department itself that the lights will be changed to the proper color for legal operation and activation of the emergency equipment. (7/11/17 2:57 PM)
Q: Does the back seat have the safety anchors for car seats? They are usually sort of hidden under some fabric and do not show up in the pictures at all. (7/12/17 1:20 PM)
A: Yes it does! (7/12/17 1:57 PM)
