2010 Freightliner B2 Bus Chassis INCOMPLETE CHASSIS, 6.7L L6 DIESEL-- This bus has been decommissioned under the VW Grant, which means there has been a 4" hole drilled into the motor and the chassis has been cut on 1 or both sides of the bus depending on the grant requirements at the time of decommission. Buses were fully operational prior to the decommissioning and still have good parts and/or storage capabilities. Buses are available for inspection/viewing at Robert's Garage in Durham, MO. Buyer is responsible for pickup/removal and Bus is SOLD AS IS.

Q: why the hell!! would anyone do that? to a bus? Just go sell it for scrap. its worth $2000 doing that. (1/1/22 7:59 PM) A: That is why we set the reserve at $1500. According to vendor the scrap rate would be in excess of $2000. We were required to drill the hole in the bus and cut the chassis as part of the EPA's grant under the Volkswagen Trust Fund to qualify for partial reimbursement of the purchase of a new school bus. Q: Do you all as a company provide Transportation for this unit?

Q: whats the title status? does it come with a title? (3/23/22 8:24 PM) A: Yes there is a title, which would be signed over to the buyer at the time of pickup. Again, we were required to drill the hole in the bus engine and cut the chassis as part of the EPA's grant under the Volkswagen Trust Fund to qualify for partial reimbursement of the purchase of a new school bus. According to a vendor, the scrap would be worth in excess of $2000, thus we started the auction at $1500. We have sold 2 others in the same fashion & this one actually sold also, but then the person never paid, called or showed up to take possession. (3/30/22 5:45 PM) |

 Removal

Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.
