TAX CALCULATION & EXEMPTIONS


TAX CALCULATION: Sale Tax, where applicable, will be calculated and added at the end of the auction.

TAX EXEMPTION: Where taxes are applicable (see the Buyer's Certificate), Tax Exempt documents must be provided to Liquidity Services Bidder Services at taxhelp@liquidityservices.com within 24 hours of the auctions close and before payment is made. Bidders are encouraged to submit their Tax Exempt Documentation prior to the Auction's close to expedite this process. RemovalRemoval
All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of the issuance of the Buyer's Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal of any and all property awarded to them . Under no circumstances will the Seller assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping of any items. If the purchaser does not remove the property purchased within the specified number of days after the date of award the County of Macomb reserves the right to retain the purchase price and re-sell the property a second time, keeping any proceeds obtained.

All items are to be removed at the risk and expense of the purchaser. Items must be picked up in person from the Department of Roads, 34592 Nova., Clinton Twp., MI 48035 - delivery service cannot be provided. The item must be removed without the Department of Roads staff participation. Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid.
