Grizzly 215 SW Grapple

This grapple is sold "as is" in used condition with no warranty or guaranty from York County. This grapple was purchased in 2009 from the manufacture, it was purchased new and unused. This is a base mounted hydraulic grapple that can be used for loading and unloading material. We used this machine to pack MSW waste into 53 foot trailers. We did this by using downward pressure to pack trailer. This was not the preferred grapple to be used by the employees, so this grapple did not see the use over the years that our other grapple endured. There is an operator’s seat and all controls are stick hydraulic controls that function much like a backhoe. This machine was in operation and functioned well when we removed it. This machine was removed in July 2019. Buyer is responsible for all cost related to moving this machine. The Grizzly website specs state this machine weights roughly 1500 Lbs. I would plan for 4 tons grapple, base, engine, and chair. York County not responsible if weight is stated incorrectly.

Questions and AnswersQuestions and Answers
Q: Is this unit electric powered, diesel, or gas engine? (3/30/20 9:29 AM)
A: electric powered (3/30/20 4:25 PM)
Q: 1) After looking at the photos it appears to me that the weight of this boom assembly with the pedestal would be over 10,000 LBS. Perhaps I am wrong? 2) Do you have photos of the cab and is it enclosed? 3) Will you load the equipment for the successful bidder? (4/6/20 2:26 PM)
A: The only weight I have is from the grizzly website it is in the attached document from the original listing on gov deals. There was a note stating we cannot guarantee actual weight. There is no enclosed cab. Just a seat and controls. We had it mounted in a grapple house we built in our transfer station. We will load for you. The driver must sign a release form. York County is not responsible for any damage during loading. If you do not want to sign the release then you will need to load the grizzly. (4/7/20 8:15 AM)
Q: 1) Does the seat and controls come with the unit? (4/7/20 9:15 AM)
A: Yes seat and controls come but we have no cab (4/7/20 11:48 AM)
