The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) is selling a 1997 Skyjack SJ 8838 Rough Terrain Scissor Lift in used condition. The equipment was used on the grounds at Dulles International Airport, and was surplus due to the procurement of a new lift. It has very low engine hours of 1,366.
The unit was placed in service on November 20,1997, and serviced annually. It was taken out of service in good working/operational condition, and received as surplus property in December 2020. We drove it in the surplus property lot, and raised the lift. Please see pictures and video for details.
The item in this sale is sold as is, where is, with no guarantees, or warranties expressed or implied, view disclaimer below.
Please note, the seller has a right to refuse sale if no reasonable bids are offered.

Q: Will it move forward and back (1/21/21 5:03 PM) A: Thank you for our interest in our auction. Yes, it moves forward and backwards. It was driven into the surplus property lot and moved via reverse (backwards) into the current location. The unit was also tested out by a prospective bidder, who came to inspect it on January 21, 2021. He moved it forward and backwards, and operated the lift up and down. (1/22/21 11:06 AM) |
