Truck is as is, where is.

Can start engine and evaluate engine operating performance on site.

Truck used to transport water for fire related incidents by a volunteer fire department.

Truck was purchased as a used over the road freight truck and converted to a fire department tanker truck and equipped with emergency lighting as shown in pictures.

A portion of the conversion included lengthening the frame to accommodate the 3,000 gallon stainless steel water tank.

During annual inspection this year it was found that the frame has separated and rusted thru on the steel extensions and steel plates in the areas the frame was extended.

Truck was removed from service at that time and determined not suitable for use by Fire Department.

Also during annual inspection it was found that the 2 rear motor mounts are cracked and needing replaced.

All service has been done at local trucking companies since put in service with Versailles Fire Department.

Due to the fact of the uncertainty of the rear frame rails it is highly recommended this be transported by the buyer on a trailer, not driven. This vehicle is not road-worthy in it's current state, and the successful bidder will need to provide any and all transportation or loading assistance for the unit to be trailered from our site. The Village will not assist in loading this vehicle.

Further details and or pictures, onsite inspection can be provided by contacting Fire Chief at 937-423-4164 after 5PM EST weekdays and anytime on weekends.
