This 2001 Spartan Aspire 75’ Aerial Pumper was purchased in 2018 by a local Volunteer Fire Department, cranks and runs was driven to our county shop approximately 6 months ago and we installed 2 new front tires, the 4 rear tires are relatively new, our shop also reported that all new brakes, drums, wheel seals, and spring kits were installed approximately 6 months ago.

Engine is a Cummins ISM 380 hp with 24,082 miles, 1,934.6 hours Transmission the Fire Chief believes it is an Allison Pump Hale QMAX150-23S 1500 gpm Water Tank 400 gallon Aerial Ladder Marion Doursman Aerial Innovations Inc. 75’ with Master Stream Device, 584.5 hours Miles and hours may vary as unit is cranked on a routine basis. Generator Gillette 5,000 watts single phase 120 / 240-volt 60 hertz, engine Lombardini diesel did not see an hour meter. You have to press the start button several times to get the generator starter solenoid to make contact but then it starts and runs as it should. (May a need a new solenoid) Includes ground ladders shown in compartment picture. Ground Ladders – (1) 35’ extension, (1) 24’ extension, (2) 14’roof, (1) 10’ folding 2-way mobile radio will be removed. All emergency warning lights were working except the driver’s side outrigger strobe. Height 11’10”, Length approximately 34’ to 35’ Manuals are included SEE VEHICLE VIDEO BELOW

THE REASON WE ARE OFFERING THIS UNIT FOR SALE; The County assumed a direct role in the fire service in April of 2021 with staffed engines, which was effectively the first steps the County has taken to formally deliver fire protection services. As part of the transition, the County absorbed what was formerly operated as an independent 501(c)3 fire department that owned the ladder truck. The County has opted to invest in new equipment that sets an operational standard for the delivery of fire protection services, which is reflected in the five new custom Sutphen engines deployed in the County’s startup. Since a Ladder Company would require 3-person staffing, thus 9 additional personnel, it is not anticipated in our first five years of operation that the County will move into that additional staffing level, thus surplusing the truck now since it will not be staffed or used for at least that five-year period, perhaps longer, and the County would prefer to plan the evolution of a staffed Ladder Company apparatus that includes a new Ladder when adding that capacity and resources.

Since we absorbed this unit and do not use this apparatus for Fire Department Operations, we do not know a lot about it, we recommend making an appointment to come out and inspect it for yourself to make sure it will fit your needs. This unit is housed at the Old Salem Fire Station, 4720 Carey Station Road, Greensboro Ga. 30642
