If the winning bid plus applicable taxes, if any indicated, plus the buyer's premium equals to $5,000.00 or more, Wire Transfer must be used. Buyers on level one probation have a PayPal and Credit Card limit of $1,000. If Wire Transfer is chosen, a Wire Transfer Transaction Summary page will provide payment and account information. TAX CALCULATION & EXEMPTIONS
TAX CALCULATION: Sale Tax, where applicable, will be calculated and added at the end of the auction.
TAX EXEMPTION: Where taxes are applicable (see the Buyer’s Certificate), Tax Exempt documents must be provided to Bidder Services at email@example.com within 24 hours of the auctions close and before payment is made. Bidders are encouraged to submit their Tax Exempt Documentation prior to the Auction’s close to expedite this process. Please contact Bidder Services for all tax exemption questions.
Property may be picked up after scheduling a removal time with the contact listed above. You may schedule an appointment by calling 205-348-7501 or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Appointment days/times are Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 11:30 am and 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm CST excluding University holidays. All items must be removed within five (5) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.
The Buyer will assume full responsibility, fiscal and otherwise, for making all arrangements, as may be required, for the de-installation, disassembly, packaging, removal, loading and transportation of the property. Loading assistance may be provided if time and resources permit; however, UA Property & Inventory Management will not be responsible for any damage or harm that may take place during the loading and removal of property.
A photo ID will be required of anyone removing any asset purchased on GovDeals.com. If someone other than the Buyer is picking up property, the Buyer is responsible for sending the Seller authorization in writing, via email to email@example.com, for the third party to pick up property. The third party will be required to show photo ID and copy of the Buyer's Certificate as confirmation they are authorized to pick up the property. They individual/company authorized for pick up will have to also sign the Bill of Sale on behalf of the buyer. The original signature will be required.

Guaranty Waiver. All property is offered for sale 'AS IS, WHERE IS.' University of Alabama makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final.
Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property.
Waiver of all liability from the University of Alabama for loading and property removal. The winning bidder will be liable for any damage or harm that may take place during the loading and removal of property awarded to that bidder. In addition, the winning bidder shall indemnify, defend and save harmless the University of Alabama and their representatives from any liability arising out of the winning bidder's acts or omissions including the failure to secure adequate insurance coverage.
Consideration of Bid. The University of Alabama reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to withdraw from sale any of the items listed.
