The item is located at our Public Works Facility, 2501 Harvard Avenue, Newburgh Hts., OH 44105. Interested Bidders may contact Mr. Matt Crowder, Fleet Supervisor at 216-661-2800 between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Friday regarding questions and/or to make an appointment for inspection of the equipment.
The Buyer’s Certificate will contain information to schedule payment & removal.
Payment in full is due not later than five (5) business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. Acceptable forms of payment are: Certified Cashier's Check or Money Order.
Certified Checks and Money Orders shall be made payable to: Treasurer of Cuyahoga County
TAX EXEMPTION: Where taxes are applicable (see the Buyer’s Certificate), Tax Exempt documents must be provided to this seller within 24 hours of the auctions close and before payment is made. Please see the contact below for any questions.
The successful bidder must contact the Program Administrator, Ms. Michelle Hicks, between 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. at (216) 443-7200, upon receipt of Buyer's Certificate by electronic award to make payment and pickup arrangements. (THE COUNTY DOES NOT PROVIDE SHIPPING.) Payment is due within five (5) business days from issuance of Buyer's Certificate. Acceptable forms of payment are ONE (1) CASHIER'S CHECK, ONE (1) CERTIFIED CHECK, ONE (1) MONEY ORDER or ONE (1) TRAVELER'S CHECK, payable to "Treasurer of Cuyahoga County." Be sure to review payment, removal and default terms and conditions.
Bring your buyer certificate. If sending a 3rd party, you must provide them your buyer certificate and a copy of your driver license with a note stating that you approve that person to pick up on your behalf. ONCE PAYMENT IS RECEIVED BY THE SELLER, THE SALE IS FINAL. PLEASE REVIEW THE SELLER'S TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE. All property is offered for sale “AS IS,” Seller makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. The Buyer is not entitled to any payment for loss of profit or any other money damages – special, direct, indirect, or consequential. Only the Assets described are for sale, other items pictured are not included.
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.

Guaranty Waiver. Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to the receipt of payment. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and the Buyer will not be considered defaulted. The liability of the seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property.
