TAX CALCULATION & EXEMPTIONS

TAX EXEMPTION: Where taxes are applicable (see the Buyer’s Certificate), Tax Exempt documents must be provided to GovDeals Bidder Services at firstname.lastname@example.org within 24 hours of the auctions close and before payment is made. Bidders are encouraged to submit their Tax Exempt Documentation prior to the Auction’s close to expedite this process. Please contact GovDeals Bidder Services for all tax exemption questions.
Vehicles must be picked up within FIVE (5) working days following the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.
Auction lot items can be picked up by appointment only on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A pickup appointment must be scheduled with Auction Staff at least one day prior to pickup.
ALL ITEMS MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE AUCTION FACILITY AT PURCHASERS SOLE COST AND RISK . AT NO TIME WILL AUCTION STAFF OR EQUIPMENT BE EXPECTED TO ASSIST IN LOADING, STARTING OR MOVING ITEMS FROM THE AUCTION SITE. PURCHASER WILL ACCEPT ANY AND ALL LIABILITIES FOR DAMAGES TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY WHILE REMOVING ITEMS PURCHASED.
Bidders will be locked unless a prior arrangement has been made for any item not removed within the five (5) business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.

State of California, Office of Fleet and Asset Management makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final.
Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property.
All vehicles will be issued a one day moving permit upon payment. Certificates of Title will be issued to purchasers for vehicles sold "WITH DOCUMENTS." All Lot items designated with an “L” number are taxable and sold "WITHOUT DOCUMENTS."
