For sale is one lot (4 each) of model 146C Dynamic Gas Calibrators (Thermo Scientific serial numbers). These units were retired from service from an ambient monitoring network for unspecified reasons. Some have missing parts. All are offered “as is” to the buyer. Serial numbers are:
This calibrator was designed to precisely dilute high concentration cylinder gases with zero air to obtain lower concentration gases for the calibration and verification of ambient air monitoring equipment. The unit also includes a gas phase titration option to convert nitrogen dioxide cylinder gas to low level nitrogen dioxide. Zero air, calibration gases and sampling lines needed to utilize this calibrator are not included with the calibrator. Warning. This calibrator was designed to dilute gases. Exposure to toxic gases may cause serious bodily harm and or death. Read the operators manual carefully, and perform all maintenance or repairs needed to insure that the calibrator is in good working order and configured properly before attempting to operate the calibrator.
