DC GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES AND MEMBERS OF THEIR HOUSEHOLDS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO BID

On November 23, 2020 this bus started right up. It moved in forward and reverse. AC blows however we're unsure if it's cold (it's cold outside here). Exact mechanical condition is unknown. Bidders are welcome to come inspection on inspection day.

The DC Public School logos and GPS tracking device will be removed from this bus before the auction closing date.

Even if bus is listed as running, buyer MUST TOW AWAY.

Buyer will receive ONE KEY, a clean/clear title, and a bill of sale at pickup location

Vehicle Mileage: if available, photos have been taken of the vehicle odometer and the last known vehicle mileage log entry. School buses are required to keep daily logs. Many of the buses for sale have a 1-3 month mileage log inside. Not all do. Bidders are welcome to look at whatever logs are in the bus on inspection day.

Important note on this vehicle auction: VEHICLE CONDITION UNKNOWN. Road-worthiness is not guaranteed. All sales are final. All vehicles must be towed from the lot. Buyer may NOT use dealer tags or temporary tags to drive vehicle away. The vehicle ad, photos, and video do not contain a comprehensive list of scratches, dents, and other issues. No comprehensive list of potential issues exists. Buyers are encouraged to inspect. No claims of misrepresentation will be honored from buyers who do not come to inspect.

Q: willis bus run to get on a trailer (12/22/20 2:26 PM)
A: It should. It didn't even need a jump start on November 23 when we took the photos and tested it. It has probably not been started since that date (which is exactly a month ago) so you may need to jump it when you come pick up. This facility does have a jump box if you need assistance jumping it, however you may have to wait until we have a free moment to come jump your bus. (12/22/20 5:49 PM)

Payment

Removal
Buyer must TOW AWAY and must pick up BY APPOINTMENT on one of these two dates: Tuesday January 5, 2020 or Wednesday January 6, 2020 from 10am and 1pm each day. Please call for an appointment. We may be available to release earlier than these dates--please call to ask. Buses not removed within 7 days of close of auction will be declared abandoned and resold. Bring your buyer certificate. If sending a 3rd party, you must provide them your buyer certificate and a copy of your driver license with a note stating that you approve that person to pick up on your behalf.
