Q: Just curious, but how do you put a reserve on something you don't know if it works? Could be a giant paperweight. (8/25/19 3:58 AM)
A: What we do is research the item new, take into account what we know and how other similar items sold on-line. Per auction information, bidders are encouraged to inspect item(s) properly "PRIOR" to bidding. When people are familiar with an item and come and look at it/inspect it, they can decipher if it can be repaired, etc. Also, once auction is finished, and if reserve is not met, we do review the bids and possibly extend a second offer to the highest bidder.
