The Buyer’s Certificate will contain information to schedule payment & removal. Payment in full is due not later than five (5) business days from the time and date of the close of the auction. Acceptable forms of payment are: Certified Cashiers Check, Money Order, or a Company Check (with Bank Letter guaranteeing funds – mandatory). Checks shall be made payable to: State of Indiana and/or Indiana Department of Administration. Buyers must furnish a copy of the Buyers Certificate with payment. Payments should be mailed to Fleet Services, Attention: Fleet Administration, 601 W. McCarty Street Suite 125, Indianapolis, IN 46225. All payments made in person at IDOA Fleet Service must be scheduled by calling 317-234-8028, Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 3:30 PM. Bidder will be required to provide a photo ID with all payments

Property can only be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Please call 317-234-8028 to schedule your pick up appointment, Monday through Friday, 08:00 am - 3:30pm. All items must be removed within five (5) business days from the time and date of the payment due date. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. In the event a transport company is used to remove the asset, bidder must supply the name of the transport company prior to arrival along with written authorization to release. The bidder must also provide the transport company with a statement of release. The transport company driver will be required to provide photo ID prior to removal.

The IDOA Commissioner has determined that any individual involved with the disposal of the state owned vehicles, including but not limited to individuals whose job it is to manage the asset inventory, those individuals involved with the online auction company selection process, or any individual who determines which specific vehicles are to be sold, are prohibited from bidding on surplus state- owned vehicles. It is further understood that state employees must be on preapproved leave time (i.e. vacation or personal time) when attending such auctions. INDOT EMPLOYEES: INDOT employees, spouses, and employee's unemancipated children are prohibited from bidding on surplus property listed from INDOT. ALL STATE EMPLOYEES: An employee that is associated with a department or facility disposing of property is prohibited from bidding.
