Payment

Payment methods for this item are Wire Transfer, PayPal, or credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) only. PayPal and credit card purchases are limited to below $5,000.00 and Bidders residing in the United States, Canada and Mexico Only. If the winning bid plus applicable taxes, if any indicated, plus the buyer's premium equals to $5,000.00 or more, Wire Transfer must be used. Buyers on level one probation have a PayPal and Credit Card limit of $1,000. If Wire Transfer is chosen, a Wire Transfer Transaction Summary page will provide payment and account information. The Wire Transfer must be completed within 5 days unless otherwise specified below. Payment in full is due not later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyers Certificate. Sales Tax and Buyers Premium: All auction winning bid amounts are subject to 5.5% sales tax and a 7.5% Buyers Premium. Tax Exempt Buyers: Buyers are required to notify and submit the proper documentation to have the sales tax removed from total prior to making payment.
Removal
The City of Eau Claire will not package or ship any auction Items. Successful bidders are responsible for removal and loading of any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer's Certificate. The City of Eau Claire will not assume responsibility for any packing, loading or shipping. Shipping Services: Shipping services are available through our local UPS Store.
