You are bidding on one approximately 1997 Fire Safety House (built on a approximately 10 x 30 feet frame with dual rear axles and the tire tread is average and hold air. Unit has been used over the life span of the unit to educate children about fire safety. It is pulled with a 2 5/16 inch ball that has a battery operated jack (battery bad) but should function once replaced. Can be raised and lowered manually. The unit is powered by a 9,000 watt 16 HP gas generator that was operational when unit was removed from service. Battery may need to be replaced in near future. It has a pull out side awning (approximate 10 x 20) that does have some holes. The canopy frame on one side at bottom is a bit rotten where the leg attaches to unit. the AC worked last time used and was cold. Some electronics work and some of the training items are fake like stove and microwave and may not work. There is NO water hookup for the unit but that could be easily solved. The training smoke machine worked fine the last time operated. There are 4 manual jack stabilizers to lever unit. Some of the outside bulbs for automotive lights might be out. Overall unit looks good for the age. Please inspect pictures well. There looks to be a leak on the front and rear roof of the unit and a few pieces of the wallpaper are peeling. I have included many pictures. Inspection of course is recommended. We have the original notebook to pass on to the buyer that describes the equipment inside and how to operate unit. This unit is almost 25 years old and has been used. Some deficiencies may exist that we cannot see or know about. The outer siding is faded from age. There is inside and outside storage nooks. There are no restroom facilities. Overall the unit is not in bad shape for the age. The color of the carpet is not chic modern nor the walls. Windows do not look to be leaking. This unit could be turned into a deer camp paradise with the introduction of water and other assorted items.

Frame may have rust, missing pieces, frame damage, and paint issues. Bought as is where is.

The City strives to be as straightforward as possible with the information as detailed in the long description. Bought as is where is. Condition is not implied or guaranteed.

NOTE: A 8% SALES TAX WILL BE ADDED TO THE FINAL SELLING PRICE UNLESS YOUR EXEMPTION FORM IS FILED WIT GOV DEALS.

Seller added the following information on 1/21/2022 7:55 AM:
There are two windows mounted at floor level that resemble glass doors but are not full size. I would think they are used for training purposes for the children how to get out of a burning structure similar to a glass door opening. Notice the size of the one next to the actual entrance door.

Seller added the following information on 1/6/2022 1:13 PM:
The trailer is approximately 30L x 8W x 9H feet. The entrance door is 36 inches. The tires are ST225/175R15 80 PSI. The canopy is approximately 21.5 feet long and extends out about 10 feet. We did not pull it out as mentioned above. The bottom of trailer to ground is approximately 2 feet from floor. Not positive about frame to ground.
Questions and AnswersQuestions and Answers
Q: What size width and height is the sliding door? (1/20/22 8:24 PM)
A: Although it looks like a glass sliding door they are both windows. Notice the proportion of the windows to the entrance door and you can see it is not tall enough to be a door. I am guessing it is to teach the children how to get our of a window if a fire occurred. (1/21/22 7:50 AM)
Q: feel free to donate it to East Brooks FD. Would keep it in the area, and would be great for our explorer program (1/20/22 10:43 PM)
A: The trailer has attracted a following with some value. We try to help other entities when possible but this is a little to deep at this point. (1/21/22 7:45 AM)
Q: any leaks or soft spots ? (1/24/22 5:18 PM)
A: please see long description. I did not feel any flooring issues while I was taking pictures but that doesnt mean I hit every spot. There could be. I think I recall maybe 2 small roof issues but patching with coolseal should take care of that. Inspection is recommended. (1/25/22 8:00 AM)
