2001 Ford F-350 SD EXTENDED CAB PICKUP 4-DR, 7.3L V8 OHV 16V TURBO DIESEL This vehicle has been owned by the Fire Department since it was purchased. The vehicle was used to fight brush fires, which occurred only a few times a year. The vehicle has very low miles on it, only 8,490. The exterior and interior are in mint condition, the vehicle was kept indoors. This is a must-see! Tires are BFGoodrich mud-terrain T/A L285/75 R16. The vehicle does not have a tailgate. Q: Good Day , First Thing I will Apologize for all my questions , I am to far away to come and have a look , I’m in NW. Georgia, However due to the Sum of Money it is going to take to Buy this truck I have a few questions . #1 ,Did the agency Buy this Truck New / or / Almost New But Used . #2, Has it Always been in The Fire Department / or / Has it been in another Department within the City or County , #3 , are there any known items that need Repair , #4 ,Are there any service Records. # 5, Has it been involved in any Accidents # 6 Has The Truck ever been in a Flood of water , Flash Flood & Etc, # 7 Is there any Rust / Frame or under carriage Rust. # 8. Has the Truck Ever Been Used to Haul Ice Melting Chemicals or any type Salt. #9. What was in the Bed of the Truck . #10. Why was the Tailgate Removed. I understand the long distance commitment. 1&2) This truck was purchased new and owned exclusively by the Bartlett Fire District. 3) No known defects or issues 4) Some service records available 5) There are some minor dents/scratches from off-road use, but no body repairs have been done on the truck 6) No floods 7) The truck has lived for 21 years in the midwest. It was rarely driven in the winter but it has been driven occasionally. I'll try to get pictures of the undercarriage up soon. 8) No salt or chemicals 9) The truck was used as a brush fire truck. See our other listings for the water tank and pump that was in the bed 10) The tailgate was removed when new for the brush fire unit. It also had a cage on the back bumper so firefighters could ride in the truck when off-road. The cage was removed. The tailgate was thrown away by a previous fire chief several years ago. Q: Was the truck ever plowed with? If not why is there a snow plow controller in it? Thanks (8/18/22 8:59 AM) A: The truck was outfitted with a plow for heavy snow emergencies. There were a couple of times the truck would pave the way for an ambulance, but this only occurred a couple of times. They also used it to plow our parking lots if the city didn't do it. Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.
