1953 miniature train, RAILROAD TRACKS NOT INCLUDED.

The train is fully operational and has carried riders for 66 years until 12-18-21. Vacuum brake system is operational but needs work. Carb. needs some adjusting as well. Original Clutch & engine running well. Reverse we believe operational but disconnected. Used as a Family amusement ride operated by the Kiwanis in Herman Park each year since 1955. Has become a beloved community fixture in Goldsboro, NC's Herman Park for 66 years.

Paint - worn from use, Brakes and carb need tune up. Car / Truck bushings needed. Vacuum pump, air pump, horn and brake actuator replaced. Have all manuals. This Train is a fully functional, about 90%+ original, well maintained G-16 train that is perfect for full restoration or use. It has been reliable and has passed all required NC State safety and mechanical inspections each year.

A: Train only, No track is being sold. We do not have the actual weight. Estimated weight is 5,500 lbs. (2/1/22 8:03 AM)
Q: Has any component been rebuilt? (fluid clutch, engine, drop down gearbox, trucks) Have seals and/or bearings on all the trucks been replaced or regularly serviced? Are there brakes on the passenger cars and do they function? Do you have the following: Electric Fuel Pump Alternator vs Generator Electronic ignition Replaced wire harnesses/ignition wires Know the compression on the cylinders? A: Clutch, engine and trucks have been rebuilt. Engine was done in the 1980's. The whole train has ben serviced regularly. Passenger cars have brakes, but need service. The engine has an electric fuel pump, 12v system, original cap and rotor. Plug wires replaced as well as portions of the wiring harness as required. Compression is unknown, but the engine runs well. Additional photos will be added once received from the selling department. REMOVAL: Removal is by Appointment Only and all items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal and any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.
