THIS LOT INCLUDES (8) CRATES OF APPROXIMATELY 4547 METERS TOTAL @ APPROXIMATELY 3 LBS. EACH, WITH A TOTAL NET WEIGHT @ 13643 LBS.
THEY ARE USED BRASS WATER METERS IN WORKING CONDITION WHEN TAKEN OUT OF SERVICE. MOSTLY NEPTUNE MODEL: T-10 – 5/8” x ¾” METERS WITH A FEW OTHER BRANDS.
THESE METERS ARE CONTAINED IN WOODEN CRATES, WITH PALLET BASE, @ 32” WIDE (X) 40” LONG (X) 30” HIGH; TO BE LOADED ON YOUR TRUCK WITH OUR FORKLIFT.
THE WEIGHT OF THE CRATES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE METER WEIGHT STATED ABOVE. TARE WEIGHT OF THESE CRATES ARE 65 LBS. EACH
** Most if not all of the ¾” x 5/8” meter bottoms are plastic. There may be a few larger meters ¾” and 1” that will be cast bottoms.

All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal of all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website, and in the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Under no circumstances will Charleston Water System assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping. Property may be removed between the hours of 9:00a.m. and 2:00p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays.
