Q: Did Northwest College purchase this bus new? if not, when did the College buy it and
who from? The bus history will help on buying a decision.
2nd question. is the mileage shown 443,184 the total coach miles, or only what the odometer shows?
Thank you for your answers. (12/9/20 9:37 PM) A: We did not purchase this bus new. We purchased it in August 2012 from Northwest Bus Sale in Federal Way Washington. I traced it back to GSA in Virginia which means the government had it on some military base. This bus came configured as a 47 passenger and I put extra bus seats to accommodate our sports teams. Mileage is total coach miles. When I purchased it it had 312,000 miles. Hubometer and ECM support the odometer. (12/10/20 8:20 AM) |

Q: When was the last engine rebuild? (12/14/20 2:44 PM) A: Sorry I answered this wrong thinking it was a different vehicle. This bus has not had a engine rebuild that I know of. The engine has had no issues with only the water pump, alternator, air compressor, starter and fuel pump being replaced. (12/15/20 8:30 AM) |

Q: Do you think the bus can be driven to Miami from there? Thank you. (12/21/20 1:55 PM) A: Without a doubt and when it arrived there it could right into service. (12/21/20 2:59 PM) |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Q: Does it have a wheelchair lift? (12/23/20 10:56 AM) A: No lift. (12/23/20 12:51 PM) |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Q: The description of the bus indicates that it is a MCI 1999, however, the picture with the VIN shows it it was manufactured in 1998. Could you please verify? (1/3/21 4:05 PM) A: Title has it listed as 1999. No different when you buy a 2021 car made in June of 2020.and you make the purchase in October for example. (1/3/21 5:23 PM) |
