WMATA employees are prohibited from purchasing metro surplus property, either directly or indirectly through other parties, regardless of the method of sale. Vehicle starts and drives with boost. We do not have service records on this vehicle. This is a fleet serviced vehicle. Runs and drives with no issues. Light lights come on for operation but we did not test it. We welcome buyers to inspect or send an inspector before bidding.

Update 2/3/22 1:55PM: I removed the "taxable" language from payment terms. Winning bidder will pay no taxes to GovDeals but will instead pay taxes to their home state motor vehicle department when they title the vehicle in their own name.

A: We will answer some questions but bidders sometimes use your answers as ways out of their purchase. We post a lot of different vehicles and merchandise from the Authority can not be expected to know every little detail about each. Removal
Pick up is by appointment only. Appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days of the date/time of auction close. Buyer must make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No assistance is promised. Unless prior arrangements are made with seller for an extension, seller may cancel any sale if not picked up within ten (10) business days of auction close. If sending a third party, you must EITHER email us the following OR have the third party bring them to pick up location: 1. your buyer certificate (you receive this when you win the auction) 2. copy of buyer's driver license 3. signed or emailed note from the buyer approving third party to pick up.
